Our Team

Our mild-mannered, feet-on-the-ground guy, Sean is a car racing enthusiast with beautiful historic racing cars like his Brabham BT30. He doesn’t take risks on the racing track or with your financials.

Professional background: Bachelor Accountancy – University of SA; Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

James is the Director who always has golf clubs in the car boot and is often spotted having a hit on the beautiful greens of Kooyonga Golf Course. He’ll tell you he used to be a talented golfer, but we think his true talents lie in his financial and lateral business advice.

Professional background: Economics Degree, University of Adelaide; Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Tom is the sports buff responsible for making sure the office kitchen TV is tuned into whichever sport is dominating right now. He’s the treasurer at St Peter’s Old Collegian’s Cricket Club who puts his finance savvy to good use on and off the field and is passionate about taking the stress out of running a business.

Matt strives to cut down complexity when it comes to running a small business and speaks your language. He has a keen interest in Agribusiness and rural clients and enjoys getting out of the office to meet clients where it suits them.

When not on the job Matt enjoys supporting his various sporting teams (with limited success).

Family man Heath is a dedicated Dad who enjoys spending time with his two young daughters. Once possessing a keen interest in playing soccer and reading, Heath’s current spare time consists of pretend tea parties and receiving ‘pretty’ makeovers at the hands of his daughters.

Heath joins One Advisory with over 15 years’ experience working in smaller accounting practices where he has developed a personalised approach to assisting his clients.

Professional background: Bachelor of International Business; Member of Tax Institute of Australia.

Jim joined the One Advisory team in December 2018 and as a former owner of a small business has a broad range of experience in accounting and tax with clients from a range of industries and professions.

Jim believes in building strong relationships, helping clients achieve their short and long term goals.

In his spare time Jim enjoys walking in the Adelaide Hills, spending time with friends and family, takes a keen interest in Australian history and keeping up with current affairs from the local to the international.

Dominic joined One Advisory in 2022 with 7 years’ experience in the Accounting & Business Advisory industry. He strives for success in all his clients and is particularly passionate about cloud accounting solutions and helping utilise these systems to achieve financial success and growth.

Dom enjoys being active whether it be on the soccer field for his beloved Old Scholars club, losing balls on the golf course or walking his dog Ruby at the beach with his partner. Dom also enjoys travelling and loves making the trip to Thailand to visit family.

Kylie is our friendly, approachable, and authentic Practice Manager who has recently joined the team.

She loves to spend time with her family and friends, planning overseas travel, photography, dining at fabulous restaurants and enjoys a wine.

Professional background: With over 30 years’ experience in a range of industries and diverse roles in a traditional corporate business environment she has been running her own contracting business for over 14 years.  Her services allowed Executives, Business Owners or Managers to concentrate on meeting their own core business needs and ultimately succeeding in their own role whilst ​having a ‘right hand person’ available when they require extra support.  Kylie has a commitment to competence, quality and reliability and has built and maintained many trusted and long-term business relationships.

Olivia’s life challenges are always faced with her optimistic and motivated atttitude. A passion for photography and love of travelling with her DSLR camera where she captures stunning views and unforgettable moments of her life. During her spare time, she also likes cycling, hiking, and any other exposure to nature.

Olivia joined One Advisory in early 2019 with 4 years’ experience in public practice, she is always engaging her mind and improving herself. She has high attention to detail and is experienced with clients from many different industries.

Professional background: Master of Accounting & Finance – University of Adelaide; Membership of Certified Practising Accountants Australia.

Jack completed the CA Achiever Program in 2018 before commencing as a graduate accountant in mid-2019. In November 2021 he became a full member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Jack is a problem-solver who enjoys the challenges that come with navigating clients through their accounting and tax needs.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing football as well as managing the leading fantasy teams in the office.

A country girl at heart, Karyn loves the great outdoors and enjoys riding motor bikes and camping with her friends and family. When she’s not working around her rural property with partner Sean, you might find her relaxing at one of the beautiful McLaren Vale wineries on a Sunday afternoon.

Karyn is an experienced bookkeeper with many years in accounting and taxation under her belt. She takes pride in her work and has established long relationships with clients from a diverse range of industries, assisting them with their accounting systems and procedures.

Lachy is an addition to the One Advisory team as a graduate accountant.  His loves are assisting clients, is very numbers focussed and working in a team.

In his spare time he plays football, and has a love of any sports and a golf- he says he is an average golfer and he enjoys the challenge.  He has the cutest female Spoodle dog and loves spending time with her.

Professional background: Currently completing Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Corporate Finance) at the University of Adelaide.

Amber joined One Advisiory in Dec 2022 with 3 years’ experience in financial accounting and taxation for small businesses. Amber has a passion for learning new things and loves to help others. She enjoys bike rides and is a gym enthusiast who dreams of lifting twice her body weight.

Professional background: Bachelor degree in Accounting from Adelaide Uni, graduated in 2019, currently pursuing full CPA membership, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) – University of Adelaide & Associate member of Certified Practising Accountants Australia.

Tai joined One Advisory in February of 2023 after completing a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance and will continue his journey in gaining his membership of the Charter Accountants Australia and New Zealand in the near future.

Tai is an enthusiastic, hard worker that strives to grow with every opportunity given.  He is always looking to assist clients in the best way possible to help them achieve their financial goals.

In his spare time, he does his best to keep fit with a variety of physical activities, primarily Australian Rules Football and running.  Tai maintains a balanced lifestyle by spending time with family and friends to ensure high quality work operation.

Professional background: Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Flinders University 2022.

Travel is in her blood – especially overseas and to Spain every 2 years to see family.

Hosting dinners and parties at home for family and friends and skiing and the water when time is available. Loads of experience with different industries.

Professional background: Accounting degree, Advance Diploma in IT programming and member of the Institute of Public Accountants, BAS Agent.

Having worked in accounting and bookkeeping for the best part of her career, Dayna has a sharp eye for detail and a love of numbers. Dayna prides herself on maintaining timely and accurate books for her clients, enabling them to make key business decisions so they can thrive.

Dayna is currently undertaking her postgraduate studies with The Tax Institute Australia, which has been both challenging, as a mum of 3, and extremely rewarding.

When Dayna’s not balancing her clients’ books, you will find her exploring one of the many beautiful SA wine regions, cooking up a storm in her kitchen, or throwing a barbell around at her local CrossFit gym.

A current resident of several fandoms, ranging from medical dramas to crime fiction, self-starter and independent Rose is eternally obsessed with whatever TV series she’s currently watching.

She will head to the nearest cinema to watch any film with a good plot. Curiosity doesn’t kill this cat, as she’s always on the look out for things that might interest her, and is open to anything new that she can try, so long as it doesn’t involve steep heights or cliff diving.

With experience in both internal and external auditing before joining the firm, she’s currently planning on pursuing her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification with One Advisory, in the hopes of one day being able to help business owners achieve their goals by providing sound financial advice.

Professional background: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy – Saint Louis University; Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Leanne is all about her fur babies or “the girls” as she affectionately calls them. If she’s not grooming them, she’s taking them on walks all over Adelaide. Then there’s the rest of the family! Leanne loves hosting catch ups with family and friends and enjoys a cheeky wine, in moderation of course!

Leanne has many years’ experience working in administration and joined One Advisory in 2018. She loves the fast pace of admin and working as part of a team. Leanne strives for the best for our clients, for the team and for One Advisory, that’s a win, win win!

Professional background: Diploma in Accounting.

Caitlyn joined One Advisory in April 2023 in a Client Support Services role.

Caitlyn is an adventurer at heart who cherishes the great outdoors. Her ideal moments are spent camping under the starry winter skies, huddled around a warm campfire. In the summertime, you’ll find her down at Goolwa, knee-deep in the thrill of cockling or heading up to the Yorke Peninsula for beachside camping, where she enjoys snorkelling and fishing.

Caitlyn is a hard worker and strives to grow with opportunities that come her way. 

Lynley joined the team in 2020 after working as an independent bookkeeper. Lynley ran her own business for 10 years and understands the passion & pressures that come with it. Lynley works with our clients’ accounting software subscriptions and accounts. Gentle natured with a strong commitment to great service.

If the weathers good you’ll find Lynley out boating & enjoying the Coorong, or in winter making a cracking pizza in the pizza oven.
